Exceptional notes
Ylang-ylang - The flowers of this tropical tree produce a balsamic, floral and sweet fragrance oil with a slight spicy note. The name ylang-ylang means 'flower of all flowers'. They smell most intensely at night, so they are harvested at dawn, when their fragrance is still very strong, and then distilled. Their fragrance has a relaxing and antidepressant effect.
Mimosa - This yellow flower with a very distinctive fragrance is one of the hallmarks of Montenegro, Croatia or Greece. It is associated with subtlety, girlish delicacy and innocence. It has a sweet, soft, intense fragrance that to some brings to mind almonds. When in flower, it can be smelt from a distance. Some species have an interesting property. Well, when their leaves are touched, they immediately curl up. For this reason, it is often called the shy mimosa.
Tonka bean - It has a warm, sweet, balsamic fragrance. It hides an extraordinary richness of aromas - you can sense a hint of almond, vanilla, rum, cloves or cinnamon, among others. Tonka bean oil makes the fragrance stronger. It also perpetuates the entire composition.
