Iris - Its powdery, velvety fragrance is elegant and delicate, with green and earthy notes. It is one of the most expensive ingredients in the palette of perfumers. This is due to the very long and complicated process of extracting the oil, which takes several years and requires a large amount of raw material. The oil is extracted from the rhizomes, which must be harvested, cleaned well and then left to dry for three to five years for the fragrance to mature. Only after this time, can it be turbodistilled and fractionated distilled to obtain the iris absolute.
Orange blossom - It has a floral, captivating, intense, sweet yet fresh fragrance that is often compared to the aroma of jasmine. It is part of the 'White Flowers' accord, which is associated with sensuality and seductiveness. The delicate orange blossom symbolises purity, innocence and fertility.
Tonka bean - It has a warm, sweet, balsamic fragrance. It hides an extraordinary richness of aromas - you can sense a hint of almond, vanilla, rum, cloves or cinnamon, among others. Tonka bean oil makes the fragrance stronger. It also perpetuates the entire composition.
